Membership Application

  • You are invited to participate in MNSCIA!

MNSCIA is dedicated to making Minnesota a safer place to live. We welcome all law enforcement officers, and those in related criminal justice fields who are primarily assigned to sex crimes investigations.

Members receive regular correspondence with up-to-date information on sexual assault investigations, court decisions, victim issues, research, technological advances, lab protocol, and intelligence information.

Members receive a membership directory, updated annually. Additionally, members are welcome to attend Board of Directors meetings, and to serve on any of the standing committees to share ideas and expertise.

    1. Active Members. Full-time law enforcement officers with power of arrest whose salaries are paid by public funds.

    1. Associate Members. Retired or part-time officers whose salaries were paid by public funds, law enforcement students, persons publicly employed in other areas of law enforcement, public employees who conduct sexual assault assessments and investigations, and any other person with a professional interest in sex crimes investigations. An Associate Member must obtain sponsorship of an Active Member in good standing. Associate Members have all the benefits of active membership except that of holding office and voting.
